Grand piano
Yamaha G5
The Yamaha G5 is the direct predecessor of the current Yamaha C5 — a 200 cm grand piano with the quality and tone typical of Kakegawa Japanese production. Its larger acoustic chamber, compared to the C3, gives it greater bass richness and more presence and projection.

More about Yamaha G5!
The Yamaha G5 is a classic grand piano from Yamaha’s historical production, a direct predecessor to the current C5 model in the C series. At 200 cm in length, it occupies a privileged position between the C3 and concert grand pianos, with an acoustic chamber that allows for harmonic richness and superior bass depth.
The G5 retains all the characteristics that have made Kakegawa’s production world-renowned: solid spruce soundboard, double escapement grand mechanism, V-Pro frame, and wood seasoned for the desired climate. The duplex scale enriches the harmonics of the high notes, prolonging sustain and adding characteristic brilliance.
This piano is especially suitable for rehearsal rooms, studios, and small to medium-sized spaces where the sound and quality of a grand piano is desired without the monumental presence of concert grand instruments. The G5 represents an excellent quality-to-sound capacity ratio.
